Home from home was built for Carl Turner architects and was commissioned by the museum of modern design in Lisbon . With much help from Teddy Baden , we had a two week deadline before the lorry turned up bound for portugal . It was put together in the semi squatted warehouse in Shoreditch of Mutoid Waste fame , Cordy house . With no electricity we worked on a diet of diesel fumes and loud music to drown out the generator throb . With just some simple drawings and a model it was left up to us to solve most the construction problems . Finished in time for the open studio view night and onto the lorry in the morning .
